Paper title: STABILITY EVALUATION OF FOUR PHASE HIGH GAIN CONVERTER BY SMALL SIGNAL MODELING

Author(s): LAKSHMI SASTHANKUTTY, RAMAPRABHA RAMABADRAN,

Abstract:

This paper presents the stability analysis of a high gain interleaved converter by small signal modeling. The proposed converter fuses the features of both interleaved boost converter and high gain converter. Considering the specifications of the parameters used and depending on state-space averaging technique, the transfer function is derived. The stability assessment of the proposed converter is analyzed using bode plot and root locus plot of the transfer function derived. The response of the converter is validated experimentally using hardware prototype model of 800 W. The investigation provides useful information in designing a perfect controller for line and load regulation. The simulation and experimental results prove the efficacy of the proposed converter.
