Abstract:

This paper presents the implementation of a new teaching methodology for easing the migration of traditional engineering laboratory practice classes to modern web-based labs. The proposed method is inspired by an on-line platform i.e. Khan Academy and uses an objective oriented approach. Unlike other methods, that are based on written support, now the teacher sits with the students and uses visual teaching techniques to transmit the useful information. In order to validate this methodology, we monitor the progress of a study group and a control group of students for an entire semester and performed basic statistics on their results.
