Paper title: METHODS FOR RESEARCH AND TESTING OF FUEL OIL MINIATURISED COMBUSTION (PART 1)
Author(s): VICTOR VICTOR GHIEA,
Abstract: Three laboratory methods for research-testing (RT) of fuel oil (FO) droplet combustion
with important practical applications are proposed. At the beginning, was established
the combustion physical model for droplet flame infrared thermography (FIRT) use.
Thus an FIRT method for RT of a burning fuel oil droplet (FOD) is obtained, giving
new criteria for determination of gas oil (GO) combustion quality. Also resulted a
graphologic-thermographic method (GTM) for RT of FOD combustion, founded on
imagining processing of obtained experimental results, by combustion oscillogram
(COS) and flame infrared thermogram (FIT), with important application.
