Paper title: STOCHASTIC EVALUATION OF THE RELIABILITY OF THE GEOTHERMAL ENERGY EXPLOITATION SYSTEMS

Author(s): IOAN FELEA, CRINA PANEA, GABRIEL BENDEA,

Abstract:

Geothermal resources are included in the category of regenerative energy resources, which through a real exploitation can assure the satisfying desideratum of sustainable development from energy point of view. Considering that the measurements used for evaluating the reliability indicators of the systems for geothermal energy exploitation (SGEE) have a random character, the stochastic approach of these evaluations is legitimate. In this paper, after a short justification about the necessity of this research, the stochastic evaluation methodology for SGEE reliability is presented together with a case study. The final part comprises the conclusions of the analysis, drawn for one type of SGEE.
