The presented paper proposes a framework for the development of complex telesurveillance systems based on the Machine to Machine (M2M) concept. This framework is capable to answer not only to the basic requirements of M2M concept, namely scalability, flexibility and last but not least the overall cost of such a system, but also takes into consideration the current trend and needs of today’s industry, combined with the technological possibilities of the moment.
