Based on classical mechanisms for nitrogen oxides formation by solid fuel combustion and experimental data from literature it was elaborate an analytical method to estimate the NOx emissions from nitrogen-bound fuel contained in certain biomass fuels. The relationships were validated on experimental data from literature with a good concordance between experimental and analytical results.
