This paper presents the theoretical analysis and practical implementation of an LLC resonant converter using fully digital control. The power train specific operation, together with a simplified approach for, determines the small-signal (control to output) transfer function is also presented. The SIMPLIS/Simetrix simulator is used for the verification of the theoretical results. An experimental prototype is developed using a commercially available Digital Signal Controller (dsPIC33FJ16GS502) in order to validate the proposed theoretical model.
