Abstract:

A new capacitive accelerometer model able to be used in the transient analysis of a circuit measuring acceleration is proposed in this paper. This model ensures the convergence of the transient analysis made by a commercial simulator (SPICE or SPECTRE) by avoiding the use of large values for the capacities, unlike the known models.
