Abstract:

In this paper, we analyze the outage probability of a multibranch selection combining (SC) based on the signal to interference ratio (SIR) over Weibull fading channels in case of non-identical power distribution per branches. Both, desired and interference signal envelopes are exponentially correlated Weibull random variables. Also, an analysis of effects of fading parameter β, correlation coefficient ρ between branches, number of branches L, as well as difference between the average input SIR per branches ∆S, on performance of multibranch SC receiver was contributed.
