Paper title: THE USE OF A HYBRID FINITE ELEMENT – BOUNDARY ELEMENT METHOD FOR THE ANALYSIS OF THE OPERATING PARAMETERS OF A RADIO-FREQUENCY DRYING INSTALLATION

Abstract:

For the solving of the electromagnetic field problem coupled with the thermal diffusion problem we use a FEM-BEM hybrid procedure that allows also taking into account the movement of the charge. The FEM network is built only once, and part of the materials that are necessary to obtain the equation system is calculated also once. The efficiency of the used procedure allows us to analyse rapidly the parameters of a radio-frequency dying installation and to choose the best solution.
