Paper title: TWO-DIMENSIONAL MODELING OF THE MOTION IN INDUCTION MOTOR WITH FERROMAGNETIC HYSTERESIS

Author(s): DANIEL MARCSA, MIKLOS KUCZMANN,

Abstract:

The paper deals with the analysis of an induction motor, which is obtained from the Problem No. 30a of the TEAM Workshops. The modified problem has been solved by the Finite Element Method (FEM) using the A,V – A – potential formulation taking the nonlinearity of the material into account. The effect of nonlinearity has been modeled by an inverse tangent type analytical model. The nonlinearity is handled by the Fixed- Point iteration technique (FPT).
