According to CEM, on board a ship special interest is presented by the determination of the electric field created by the electric discharges and of their effect upon the electronic equipments and the crew. We present the forms of the discharge currents obtained after several tests and we also present a way of simulating the electric discharges through the discharge current calculus and its undesired effects on the equipments and crew on board a ship.
